Judgement

Many people believe that the Father will do the judgement at the judgement seat. But look what the Bible says:

Joh 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man; but hath committed all judgment to the Son:
Joh 5:27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

So the Father decided to give the judgement to the Son. Now many people believe that we as Christians will not be judged. This depends...

Mat 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and the measure which ye give, shall be measured to you again.

This is valid even for Christians, even ESPECIALLY valid for Christians. We are no longer under the law, but Jesus said that the same judgement we use will be used for us.

Now it is very easy for us to never be judged, and that is not to judge anybody that does something to us. If we find that somebody is talking behind our backs or doing us harm, we can immediately turn to God and say: "See Lord, look here. Here is somebody that did something against me and I forgave him / her and I do not hold a grudge. Thanks that I can now bank on it that You will treat me the same way!"

So what happened was this:

The Father decided to give the judgement over to the Son. Then the Son decided to give it over to us. Now if we judge, we will be judged. If we do not judge, we will not be judged.

If only we can catch the reality of this, we will be glad at every opportunity we can show God that we have not judged somebody for doing something against us. We will use those opportunities to "force" God to show the same mercy to us. We will even be glad if people mistreat us, for then we are just making sure that God will never be able to judge us.

This is God's plan! It is not like tax where the law left a loop-hole! God never leaves loop-holes. If there is one, it is because He decided to give it to us. Let us use these opportunities to turn judgement away from us. It is part of His Master Plan.
